Senior SIGINT Specialist

SOSi is currently seeking a Senior SIGINT Specialist to provide support to ground SIGINT operations, SIGINT operations coordination and synchronization, and other SIGINT activities. The Senior SIGINT Specialist will provide timely, relevant, accurate and predictive SIGINT and Electronic Warfare support to enable the commander and subordinate unit commanders the ability to understand their battlespace and enemy forces and provide routine and recurring support to SIGINT activities from fixed and secure locations (defined, bases, camps and installations).
Essential Job Duties
- Monitor collection flow and identify any collection issues and relay collection concerns to unit leadership and IT personnel.
- Research, develop, present, and publish all ground SIGINT intelligence products at tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
- Monitor audio and relay audio cuts to the correct organization, i.e., Language Analysis Cell (LAC) / Analysis Research Cell (ARC).
- Provide I&W for force protection issues through I&W Tippers, recognize information that needs to be tipped, and coordinate accordingly.
- Support Train, Advise, and Assist missions.
- GIST Dissemination.
- Evaluate traffic to determine if it meets time/intelligence value criteria and ensure that the QC process is conducted and intel value is determined based on customer requirements and organic unit standards.
- Conduct analysis of raw and fused signals intelligence data concerning insurgent threat activities.
- Provide input on multiple ad-hoc SIGINT requirements and objectives.
- Perform SIGINT analysis on insurgent threats, mission planning, target development, damage assessment, and counterterrorism within the CJOA.
- Conduct comprehensive research on specific topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit's mission.
- Ad hoc/anticipated deliverables include (but are not limited to): collection report; time sensitive reports upon receipt of new time sensitive information; all-source intelligence products; PowerPoint slides upon analysis of new reporting; target packages upon analysis of new reporting; information papers when required; research product when required; and daily completed reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope TS/SCI clearance with current CI Polygraph and capable of gaining and maintaining access to NSA systems and facilities.
- Minimum twelve (12) years of related experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
- Training in SIGINT operations with at least ten (10) years SIGINT experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies, and with five (5) years of experience at the operational level.
- Former MOS 1N2, 35S/P/N, 35B, 35N, 352B/PQ/R/S,18F or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Army/Joint SIGINT procedures, data processing systems such as CIDNE, RT-RG, NSANet and associated SIGINT database/search engines.
- Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications, mIRC, Jabber Chat, and intelligence related automation in support of analytical efforts and product development.
- Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of assigned CJOA requirements.
- Possess strong knowledge of relevant NSA tasking, collection, processing, reporting procedures, and communications architecture (PED).
- Possess strong knowledge of military ground and operations, target-area geography, place names, titles, and cultural norms as well as relevant enemy objectives, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s degree in a related area from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Management (Team Lead/NCO) level experience.
- OSINT/PAI research and analytical experience.
Work Environment
- Living and working conditions while TDY or deployed could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, adverse conditions, and relocation on short notice.
