SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to effectively manage a large workforce supporting in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building positive relationships and partnerships with stakeholders in the European Theatre. This position is based on Wackernheim, Germany.


Essential Job Duties

  • Leads the team in the absence of the Project Manager to ensure completion of all contractual work in accordance with contractual documents and Performance Work Statement.
  • Assists the Project Manager in establishing policy and procedures for performance and control of all management functions.
  • Assists the Project Manager in managing overall project cost control and budgetary issues.
  • Assists the Project Manager with budget, monitors contractual performance and costs, and takes action to minimize and correct discrepancies and vacancies.
  • Assists the Project Manager in the management and effective integration of any subcontractors and supporting suppliers or vendors to ensure project and task order mission success.

Minimum Requirements

  • In scope DoD Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or IT Management.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a USG Motor Vehicle Operators Identification Card.
  • Must be approved by the USG and Host Nation under the NATO Status of Forces Agreement.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in communication electronics and systems.
  • Experience managing large IT programs across a wide geographic area including austere locations while maintaining 24/7 communications.
  • Must have strong knowledge and engagement of process compliance, including full understanding of contract compliance with FAR, DCAA, and DCMA.
  • Must have 1 year experience in contracting and contracting terms.
  • Must have experience managing finance and accounting operations, operating a QC section and Human Capital Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing Army Materiel Management programs as they relate to operating Stock Record Accounts (SRA), DODIN sites and operating a full maintenance activity.
  • Familiarity of working with NETCOM.
  • Have a familiarity with European Contractor Online Processing System (ECOPS), formerly called DCOPS.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Fluency in a foreign language desired but not required.
