IT Manager

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an IT Manager to manage the IT support for a services contract in Doha, Qatar. The IT Manager will serve as the Program Manager’s IT lead and will be responsible for all aspects of IT support for program with U.S. and third country national employees.
Essential Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and direct IT related activities on the program.
- Provide help desk and user support functions.
- Manage and track IT support on the program.
- Advise the Program Manager on IT matters and policies.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations, contract policies, host nation laws.
- Develop and implement site specific IT procedures.
- Interface with third party contractor for IT infrastructure connectivity and support.
- Interface with corporate IT department for policies, guidance, and support.
- Attend and host meetings.
- Prepare reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience may be substituted.
- 4 years of IT experience on U.S. Government contracts overseas with an international workforce.
- Ability pass background checks and maintain a U.S. Government public trust determination.
- Proficient written and verbal communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- CISCO and Microsoft or equivalent certifications desired.
Work Environment
- Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
