Systems Administrator/Manager
**This position is contingent upon award of contract**
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a highly qualified Systems Administrator/Manager to join a program providing critical network operations and maintenance services for our government customer. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) IT systems and services.
Essential Job Duties
- Responsible for activities related to system administration.
- Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
- Hands on Red Hat/Solaris, Windows, and cybersecurity.
- Managing a team of System Administrators providing C2 and VDI/Web services.
- Unix Shell scripting, Oracle/Sun HW, DISA STIG/SCAP implementation.
- Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
- Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- BA/BS Degree in information technology or related discipline.
- Twelve (12) or more years in the field or related area; at least three (3) years of experience working in South Korea.
- ISC2, CISSP, Sun Certified Solaris System Admin, CompTIA Security+, Network+, ITIL V3 certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Eight years of hands-on experience in management of complex virtualized server environment with a mixture of Windows and Unix-based machines.

- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
