Network Operations Manager
**This position is contingent upon contract award**
SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Network Operations Manager to join a program providing critical network operations and maintenance services for our government customer. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) IT systems and services.
Essential Job Duties
- Responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance and usage of the local area network.
- Studies products to determine those which best meet customer needs.
- Assists in presentation of information to management resulting in purchase and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment.
- Manages network performance and maintains network security; installs all network software.
- Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced, trains users on network operations.
- Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems; troubleshoots network problems.
- Establishes and implements network policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and customer’s objectives.
- Oversee the internal enterprise services of Network Administration, System Administration, Unified Capabilities, and Cybersecurity.
Minimum Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline.
- Five (5) to twelve (12) or more years in the field or related area; at least three (3) years of
experience working in South Korea. - Possess a high degree of expertise to include the following technologies: routers, network switches, network encryption devices (e.g. KG/SG-250), Ethernet, 802.1X, VPNs, GRE tunneling, CSUs/DSUs, TCP/IP, UDP, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6, PVCs, ACLs, MPLS, CWM, DWDM.
- CISSP, ITIL V3, CASP+, CCNP, CCSP, GCIA, GCED, or GCIH certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v4 is preferred.
- PMP is preferred.
Work Environment
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
