F Ops (FIS Analyst)
SOSi is seeking F OPS (FIS Analyst) to provide senior technical expertise to perform FIS internal analysis, FIS external analysis and provide recommendations for operational equipment and baseline upgrades to enable optical SDP operations and task satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties
- Act as operational engineering liaison for installations, systems upgrades, training specifics to mission execution.
- Provide nominal internals and externals data set on average within 48 hours of an event, and may require immediate data after an event.
- Process cross-site externals on collected events in priority order, provide external processing training to operational personnel to achieve consistency in processing across all crews.
- Perform specialized externals processing at the request of customers or management, and ensure quality control of all site produced externals.
- Interface with engineering and research labs and coordinate on special collection events, tool development, collaboration approaches as prioritized by government.
- Initiate off-line processing efforts to identify event anomalies and determine success or failure of each event from both target intent and site collection perspective, reporting results to community.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance.
- Enrollment into the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Must possess a current Polygraph and be able to maintain that polygraph.
- Willing and able to undergo and pass a medical (Physical) exam and psychological evaluation (for employee and each authorized dependent).
- Ability to obtain a host nation employment visa.
- Be familiar with Signal / Communication Analysis.
- Must have a thorough background in analysis of detected and pre-detected data in both analog and digital formats.
- Must be capable of working under general direction.
- Must be able to frequently use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Be able to make sound and technically accurate decisions.
- Must be able to express yourself clearly while giving instruction to customer operators.
- Must be able to work either independently or in a team environment.
- Must be willing, able to work a rotating shift.
- Must be willing to relocate to remote overseas location in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia for an initial tour of two years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Telemetry Interceptor Analyst Course, 450 Collection and Processing Course, and/or 451 Communication Signals Analysis.
- Knowledge and use of Combined Back End Tool (CBET) tool suites.
Work Environment
- Work Schedule: Day position, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, with potential flex time requirement; some travel required.

- Property Management or Long Term Storage: Will be reimbursed as actual costs up to an approved limit for property management or long term storage required at home location.
- Inoculations and Passports: Reimbursed for reasonable and actual expenses incurred when obtaining required physical examinations, inoculations, passports, and/or documents related to the assignment.
- Work Permit/Visa: Coordinated by international human resources authorized vendor if necessary for employee and eligible dependents.
- Expatriation/Repatriation En route Travel: Economy airfare from home of record to international assignment location and return. Company will reimburse reasonable and actual costs for travel, food, and lodging for the employee and authorized dependents when traveling to and returning from assignment location.
- Expatriation/Repatriation Interim Living: You will receive 100% per diem for the first 30 days upon arrival to the international assignment and last thirty days upon the end of assignment to be used plus auto rental.
- Expatriation Destination / Repatriation Departure Services: Company authorizes destination services when expatriating/repatriating.
- Expatriation / Repatriation Shipment: A 20 ft. container is authorized for transportation of household goods. Up to 30 days of storage in transit may be authorized if required. Employees have the option to ship 500 lbs. by air in lieu of surface shipment.
